| Yea... I know I haven't written anything on here in a while, but I mentioned before my bf was coming to visit so my time was spent elsewhere. IDK if I said this or not, but he's in the Navy... so with me being in school, we rarely get to see each other. We used to be real good about it, and visit at least once a month. That was when he was stationed in Norfolk (ironically where I'm at school now) and I was at RU which was a 4.5 - 5hr drive. Now he's a good 9 hours away so visits are pretty infrequent. Last time I saw him was for our anniversary in Jan so you know I was missin my love. I had such a beautiful week with him. It was his birthday (Happy 22nd Honey Bear ). Last year I was able to visit him for his b-day so hopefully the anniversary (which is 10 days before my birthday) and his birthday trips will become yearly events (until we're living together of course!) Whenever we're together its as if we've been living together forever. Everything flows so naturally. We cook, and clean together, we've got our bathroom rhythm down pat (don't get all nasty on me... we just know how to utilize the space and have great timing with brushing teeth, doing hair, showering, peeing (yea I said it... peeing).... all of the above). We know to give each other space to do their own thing, but we both love being together so much we don't need too much alone time (I mean... we just had 3 months of it!) It would be nice to have something in between... 3 months is a long time. I'll be going down there aftere finals for a nice mini vacation. He lives near tons of beaches and about an hr from Daytona, so I'm looking forward to some fun times. (After that, I'll be goin to Oakland to visit my aunt... Yea I know... lots of vacations lots of planes but after the summer I had last year, and the non-existent summer coming next year... I deserve it!)... But back to my baby.... We've been doin so much lately taking care of the "now" to get ready for the future. We're making plans for when we're able to move in together (yes... We want to live together before we get married) and yes... marraige is in the works. No, no no... I'm not engaged (at least not officially). We both know we want to marry each other and have already started figuring things out as far as living things (no wedding planning or anything like that). He is the love of my life. We have our ups and downs (everyone argues don't they?), but the thing that makes this so much better than anything I've ever experienced is that we're able to talk about everything. We're comfortable enough with each other to say whatever is on our mind. Granted... there are times it may not be what the other wants to hear, its so much better in the long run because the way we feel about things is never left to the imagination. Its all out there, in the open. We've been doing real good about not letting our differences spill over into the next day. It makes things so much easier and I love him so much for it. Whoever said people need to sleep on it was wrong! Its hard to get everything out in the open (esp. for him who is used to keeping things bottled in... it took a lot of work) and it can lead to very late nights but you know its love when no matter how bad the argument, you can end it all with a kiss (over the phone) a very heartfelt "i love you" and falling asleep together (yes... on the phone). No... no arugments were had this past visit but you gotta love the good and the bad and everything in between. Boy oh boy do I. ahhh... I just wanted to brag a little I love my man to death and can't get enough! signed... (the soon to be) Dr. Kaelin Jeffries | | |
| I don't really have much to say. I just wanted to say something to get back into the habit of this. Navon is coming this Wednesday and he's actually staying for a pretty lengthy amount of time. He'll come in late the 16th/early the 17th which is his birthday and he'll be here through the 27th! I think this is the longest he would have stayed with me. I'm sooo excited. I've been counting down the days. My girl Amber's boyfriend's birthday is that week also (the 14th) so we'll be doin somethin special for them that weekend. I can't say what that is, cuz I'm sure he'll be reading this. This weekend has been pretty lazy on my part, so tomorrow I sure have my work cut out for me. I don't have too much to do, just a lot of little things here and there that I know I'll need done before he gets here. I could start tonight, but you know what... I really don't feel like it! So thats that. Nothin much goin on (really nothing I needed to blog about) but hey... Once I stop... there's no tellin the next time I'll be back. | | |
| So, My girl got me back on here after 2 years of other things. I don't even know where to begin and I have NO CLUE what I'm doing anymore! (oh the things I do for you) So... here's my way to try and catch up/sum up the past 2 years... I am a recent graduate of Radford University with honors and now attend ODU for my Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Its a three year, extremely difficult program so I doubt my blogs will be as frequent as they once were. I had the best experience in undergrad and have developed friendships that will last a LIFETIME! There was never a dull moment. I hope that eventually I'll have the chance to do the same here. I have been in a beautiful relationship with my boyfriend for over 2 years now! My navy man is more than I could ever ask for. The "kid next door" went from that, to a good friend, to my best friend, to my lover... all along, never realizing he was my soul mate. Our lives took seperate roads but fate brought us back together!
I can't really think of anything else to add... More will come as I get re-acquainted to the Xanga world!
| WOW... Yea, it really has been a min. since I've updated this. I wish I could say it was because my life has been full of so many fun exciting rendezvous, but to make it simple, I've just been mad busy.
Over the Christmas break, I wanted to get in some work, so I didn't come back struggling the whole semester, but that didn't quite work out. I did some work around the house for my dad, and he in turn helped me with books and other expenses for the semester. But it gave me a nice 3 week vacation with no responsibilities. After working full time and taking an evening chemistry class over the summer, having one day to myself to pack up for Radford, going through 2 weeks of RA training, then going full swing into the semester with 19 credits, an RA job and track, I guess a break was exactly what I needed.
I got to hang out with people I hadn't seen in YEARS, and also chilled with best friends that fell through the cracks and dissapeared on me! It was great though. Christmas was great. I got an iPOD (along with the million plus who joined the fad) Clothes are a regular christmas item, and my mom always has great stocking stuffers. It was great though! My dad completed grad school so we threw a party for him on New Years Eve.
I had to be back here early for more RA training before the semester started. Radford already came back anywhere from 1 to 4 weeks earlier than other schools, so for me to have to come back here even eariler was very depressing.
This semester is going okay though. Chemistry is going to be my downfall, but I did pretty well on the first quiz, so hopefully that will continue. Track season is officially in full swing. We competed at Tech this past weekend, and are going to ETSU in Tennesse this weekend.
Well I don't want to bore you with the story of my life, so I'll cut it here, and try to update more often.
Until next time... Stay Classy San Diego
